I'm not usually a big filigree person, but this caught my eye. I didn't like how it was finished at the end; I was going to add a moonstone drop & remove the Hamsa. Then I found the pendant, which I just got, & it works perfectly. It needs repairs, anyways, so I'll swap the clasp & the pendant then.

I finally got around to getting a haircut earlier today. It's nothing all that exciting - just a variation on what I typically get. I've given up asking stylists to do whatever they want, since they basically end up doing this kind of cut, anyways.

The only time I ask permission from anyone is if I think there's a chance I might get in trouble for doing something.
My current boss loves that I just fix things that he only hears about later, long after it's been fixed. But I've had bosses in the past hate that I've tried to do things on my own.

A friend of mine decided that she was going to gift me the Discworld books that I don't have, starting with these three. I'm sure @rincewind.run would be proud.
She's also decided that I need an advent calendar every year. This time, it's tea. That's alright, I get her a Christmas cactus yearly.

I'd dropped off a bit of my antique hoard with a jeweler a couple of months ago to get some pieces repaired, altered, or rebuilt. Got back a few things today, including some moonstone & garnet (where applicable) rings that needed resizing. There are some pieces she's still working on, tho.

Here you go. I tried to get a good mix of bands. But just like today, people definitely had their favorites, & some bands produced a lot more hit songs than others.

I'm reading this old thing again. It's a bit worn around the edges, & I had to tape up the spine, mostly because I used to take it with me on work trips to read. It's one of those books I knew I wouldn't finish flying halfway across the country & back.

I came up with a bit of a mantra tonight while meditating, which helped. I wrote it down so I'd remember it. Feel free to use it for yourself, or to tweak it so it works better for you.
