People living in UK - especially GB - should not be thinking 'at least we're not as bad as America,' when Northern Ireland exists and civilians were being shot by state forces there for decades, and recent governments have given those forces amnesty. @grantsana.bsky.social leading bsky voice here.

Christmas gifts are mostly for my kid (&yet another cookery book for my partner, ofc, so he can continue to do most of the creative cooking🤫), but I also got myself a clichéd gift of men's underwear&socks, spiked blue earrings to match my hair,&a cute pronoun pin sadly so tiny no one will notice it😂

I had the opportunity to read this already and I can tell you it is *excellent*. A very careful reading, fair and thorough.
So much of the commentary on the FWS judgment has been driven by reflexive responses to the outcome, but there are so many gaps and leaps in its reasoning that it will spawn litigation for years to come - @aoifemod.bsky.social and I flag some failings in judge craft:

За Коледа и Нова Година прочети De avonden на Герард Реве (има я на английски). Започваш на 22-ри декември и до 31-ви четеш по глава на ден, заедно главния герой. В един момент става малко като халюцинация 😂
