It sucks so much. I dearly wish trains were better in NA, but it's logistically such a nightmare short of a few specific routes. I salute you for giving it the college try.

Something that occurred to me is that every local that is ~35+ lived through, and remembers the way vividly. That is insane.

I'll write more when I have the time and energy to do so, but here's a few photos. I enjoy wandering the residential neighborhoods. The Old Town is gorgeous but an intense tourist frenzy and a very different experience. Bullet holes in buildings are a sobering reminder of Bosnia's recent history.

I'm so glad I stocked up on disposable vapes. Everyone here smokes. Everyone. I have successfully thwarted the temptation by having a more responsible alternative!

It's bittersweet to leave Germany so soon. This was my first time bank in 11 years; the country holds a special place in my heart owing to the friends who have connected me to it. I got hit with intense nostalgia more than once, those memories are powerful! And now I've created new ones.
