qo is a TUI to query JSON, CSV and TSV using SQL in the terminal.

It can query data using SQL syntax, supports joins and filters, shows live results in the TUI, pipes to other tools and more.

Kai Nakata made qo and is Terminal Tool of the Week! ⭐️

Just took an edible to offset the temporary effects of my earlier flu+covid vaccination and about to watch a documentary from the 70s and listen to some podcasts later. I am a walking liberal cliche 😭

Excellent @arimelber.bsky.social report on how witty insightful hard-hitting NYC Hot 97 show “Ebro In The Morning” has been cancelled because of “corporate pressure over free speech” probably from their progressive truth-telling anti-MAGA bent @oldmanebro.bsky.social

Chicago's Smart Streets cameras began issuing new fine types for expired meters and parking in bus stops in late October. New cameras have come into rotation as well, to limited use.

Low impact to daily fines issued so far, and a majority of tickets are still warnings.

A man came to Broadview searching for his wife of five years after she was taken by ICE at her court hearing. He wasn’t told anything, tracked her by her phone, and was left weeping in the parking lot.

*Out of respect we deleted original post in request from man in photos showing his face*

Among the more fun details: While in prison, Ulbricht sat for 80+ hours of interviews for a documentary he thought might sway public opinion about him. Now that he's out, he has tried to kill the doc for fear it reveals too much.

"Man, I said way too much," Ulbricht said on tape we've heard.

My current sandboxing workflow:

1.) Enable default firejail profile if it exists. If not:
2.) Try using `private /path/to/custom/sandboxDir/` for a separate $HOME and `/`. If it breaks too many things tho then:
3.) Stick the app into a systemd-nspawn container and call it a day.

Big fan of Linux. I do wish the community would focus more on celebrating the great things and less on putting down other distros or OSes. Starts to feel like an insecure circle-jerk after a while
