As I think should be obvious, those landlord tax cuts aren’t going to pay for themselves. If it takes the drowning deaths of a few hundred passengers in a Cook Strait storm to keep interest rate deductibility for slumlords, that’s a price this government is willing to pay 🤷🏻

Thank you for posting this! I’ve been looking for two particular hats without luck and now I’ve found them. Amazing.

Weirdly, I’ve never come across their website in my search for hats in NZ. All sorted now. 🧢

I ordered after seeing @meatmechsuit.bsky.social’s post and they’ve just sent me a shipping confirmation. Maybe give them a ring and see if your order would go out today!

junction, not being sure if they’ve made a wrong turn; visually it says “yeah, it’s not really meant for cars down here.”
The result is a much nicer section right along the river (and linking to a pedestrianised retail section) where people on foot, bike, scooter etc (and the tram) take priority.

Yes that’s good to know! 😁

YES I think I’d go that way next time. We ended up switching from the north (left?) bank of the river to the south at Barbadoes St just because we were unsure, and that made it a tight and awkward junction at Fitzgerald. Good tip about the road island, thanks!

Yep good idea. I’ve thought of a couple others I should have remembered, too.
