googled something and clicked a link to a website I'd never heard of that looked like a forum, read the discussion and realized the person asking a question and all of the answers were all LLM generated, the entire website was a fake forum pretending to be people asking/answering questions

I just tried open AI’s voice chat for the first time.

It was fine, but not great.

I think we could just make a new Turing test for voice chat and we would still be a decade away from AGI.

I once was in DC for 3/4” of snow. I was driving on the GW pkwy and saw emergency lights kind of middle of the road up ahead. I thought “oh, that sucks, they slid into the median”. No.

Motherfucker had STOPPED IN THE LEFT LANE AND TURNED ON THE EMERGENCY LIGHTS.

That license needed an asterisk.
i love when the snow tells me everything i need to know about the drivers here bc holy shit some people need their licenses taken away

What about a 3 year moratorium on making movies with existing IP. I want more new blood!
If you were a despotic president, what movie would you force Hollywood to make? I want to see Quentin's Star Trek movie or maybe Kill Bill Vol 3.

I’m about to read this article, but off the top of my head:

- not generally accepted as currency
- volatility in currency is bad
- all money is digital anyway
- deflationary pressures are worse than inflationary pressures

We need to fully participate in the international criminal court and repeal the ‘Geneva invasion’ act.

The question we all probably won’t know the answer to for years is wtf was going through Mamdani’s head during all of this?
This might actually make Trump’s abysmal poll numbers go up.

I am struggling to accept this is a real thing that happened. This is the silliest timeline.
A reporter asks if Mamdani stands by calling Trump a fascist. Mamdani starts to give a delicate answer.

Trump (smiles, pats Mamdani's arm): "That's OK, you can just say yes. It's easier. I don't mind."

“Is this even poetry anymore? I doubt it could even jailbreak an LLM”
Looks like LLMs are *very* vulnerable to attack via poetic allusion: "curated poetic prompts yielded high attack-success rates (ASR), with some providers exceeding 90% ..."

Out of all the things to do to ranchers, this has to fucking sting.

Beef is expensive because he put tariffs on the INPUTS to domestic beef. And now he just excepted beef from foreign sources that don’t have tarrifs on their inputs. Maybe even subsidies.

US beef is probably freaking out right now
