That a dude with a couple cameras and a plate of appetizers can make something worth $82.5 million and a media company looks at that and goes "couldn't we make even more money if we had AI do it?" tells you exactly how stupid these people are
The $82.5 million sale of "Hot Ones" studio First We Feast is part of a broader strategy at BuzzFeed to shift away from human editors, writers and content producers in favor of artificial intelligence, which result in "high-margin, tech-enabled revenue lines."
BuzzFeed sells "Hot Ones" studio for $82.5 million as it pursues more AI-driven content
The company said the sale will allow it to depend less on human-created content in favor of "high-margin, tech-enabled revenue lines."

Possibly the most insane video game crossover.

My favorite games.

(Day 10)

1. World of Warcraft

Maybe the closes gaming has ever gotten to it's own real breathing world. In an age before social media, people met lifelong friends and made lifelong memories in the perfectly designed vessel to explore Azeroth.

(Day 9)

2. Doom 2

Doom 1 had groundbreaking tech, and Doom 2 brought it to it's full fruition. It takes a lot for a game that came out more than 30 years ago to not feel dated in the slightest. Truly an icon of the industry.

(Day 8)

3. Left 4 Dead 2

A co-op game so perfectly crafted there's still Left 4 Dead clones coming out annually more than 15 years later. Enemy design, presentation, audio... there's simply nothing that Left 4 Dead 2 doesn't knock out of the park.

4. Garry's Mod

A genuine sandbox of creativity, Garry's Mod stands the test of time by truly being limitless with it's potential... and being built on top of one of the best games ever made doesn't hurt.

(Day 6)

5. Guitar Hero

You know you had something special when a game required it's own controller and was absurdly expensive at the time, yet still sold so many copies you never met a gamer that didn't play it.

(Day 5)

6. Heavy Rain

A game that feels odd at first, but was truly one of the most unique experiences in gaming when it hit shelves nearly 15 years ago. With uniquely high stakes Heavy Rain is one of those games I wish I could experience for the first time again.

7. Fable

A game with a legacy of being over-promised but still stands the test of time more than 20 years later. Meaningful choices and a memorable world make Fable more than the sum of it's parts.

(Day 3)

8. Pokemon GO

A perfect blend of innovation, nostalgia, and getting gamers off their butts made one of the most unique and special games ever made... and it's on your phone for free.

9. Sleeping Dogs

Great fighting mechanics, fun driving, and a meaningful story make a game that managed to cast off it's "GTA Clone" past and become something special. A truly underrated classic.

10. Phasmophobia

Definitely the newest game on the list.

An absolute gem of a co-op game that manages to perfectly balance hilarious co-op and being terrifying during those moments when you're isolated.
