Fictional kinks can't hurt me but a fascist regime very much can and will.

god it's so fucking exhausting to be an EmetWoL shipper who likes both m/m and m/f EmetWoL. The dynamics are good regardless of gender. Yes, my personal wolship with him is m/f because that's what I wanted for my personal oc, but I love seeing EVERYONE'S wolships!

Being queer yourself does not mean you are immune from being homophobic, transphobic, etc towards your fellow queer community members.
Coming out is not the end of it. You have to unpack the internalized homophobia, transphobia, misogyny, misandry, etc you were raised into and with.

About a year ago, I made an Emetwol Discord server. I actually made it over a year ago, but I didn't share the link for a full month, because, frankly, I was scared. I just wanted a tiny little corner for fans of a ship, but current fandom scares me. It's more toxic than anything I grew up with.
