So Judge Advocate General officers - military - are summoned to relieve prosecutorial shortage?

Was this thought through?
A massive scandal.

Kash Patel and Pam Bondi refusing to investigate the murders of American citizens to cover up Trump administration culpability.
NYT confirming MS NOW reporting:

Prosecutors began investigating Renee Good's killing, then Washington told them to stop.

Federal prosecutors had a warrant to collect evidence from Good's vehicle, but Trump leaders said to drop it. About a dozen prosecutors have since departed.

To take some of the cringe or wobble out of this class, or caste, society, I recommend creating a post-Epstein version.

Breathing would become more satisfying.

BREAKING: Judge Jia Cobb issues a TRO blocking DHS Sec Noem's Jan 8 memo purporting to require 7-day notices by members of Congress to perform oversight visits to immigration detention facilities.

The effect is that congressional oversight visits are allowed on request, as is required by Sec. 527.

There are ample professional disincentives to spilling the inner workings of a court; even misconduct is rarely disclosed.

Only reason to demand NDAs is if the Justices are engaging in conduct so egregious that the legal profession would recognize the need for court employees to disclose it.

Also, you never know what is interesting to government(s) until it's 6 months too late.
People do not understand why government surveillance is so bad and privacy is so important

The problem isn't that you did nothing illegal, they can use the legal things you do, but don't want everyone to know against you

They can leverage the things that you think are private, but they learn
A Minnesota woman observing ICE agents in her car was cornered on one-way streets. An agent approached, called her by name—citing facial recognition. Days later, her Global Entry and TSA privileges were revoked, with no explanation.

Algorithmic paranoia is contagious? Uh-oh
Someone spun up a social network for AI agents.

Almost immediately some began strategizing how to establish covert communications channels to hide from humans.

In many cases the agents are on machines that have access to personal data.

"Privacy breach" won't begin to capture what is coming. 1/

Legalized theft made into a role-playing game?
IMO the president should not be allowed to sic his own lawyers against government lawyers who at this point are also just his lawyers in order to steal the annual GDP of a small country from American taxpayers.

Defund the harm. Demand senators amend appropriations bills to forbid contracting with these imprisonment outfits.
This is an extraordinary act of bravery. Everywhere we have ever won greater justice for people shamed & blamed, abducted & abused, it has been by showing not just the horrors but also the courage. #BraveOfUS
“LET US OUT!”

women & children scream for help inside a detention camp in TEXAS, where private prisons like core civic make billions of taxpayer dollars holding them while abusing, neglecting them, refusing them health care, feeding them dirty food & water, etc.

This morning, I recorded a video on TikTok about why DHS’s arguments for the power to enter homes without judicial warrants in immigration cases are bunk.

Nine hours later, TikTok still says my video is “under review,” and can’t be shared.

A reminder to the news media: “conflicting accounts” is what you say BEFORE the incontrovertible video evidence appears. After that, your job is to ask why one side is lying, not to repeat the lie and pretend no one knows the truth.
