Yesterday, five-year-old Liam and his dad Adrian were released from Dilley detention center. I picked them up last night and escorted them back to Minnesota this morning.

Liam is now home. With his hat and his backpack.

We just saw this, and it’s a good idea for businesses to post. Private businesses are allowed to set dress and conduct rules. Requiring no full face coverings has long been standard for safety and loss prevention reasons, and it is within a business’s rights to refuse entry or service.

Here you go. This is where you can drop off the trophies you want to give to Donald Trump to earn his favor.

Copenhagen, Denmark. Total unity against Trump. And these are our allies. He is such a terrible person, he has turned the entire earth against us.

Here’s the proof.

The “problem” with vaccines? They so effective at preventing deaths that they create generations of people that question whether disease was a problem in the first place because they have never experienced the horrors of a world without vaccines.

Wow! France gifted her to us, and now they’ve captured what so many Americans are feeling on Independence Day. The values the Statue of Liberty stood for are no more.

📌 A stunning mural of the Statue of Liberty covering her face was unveiled in Roubaix, France, on July 3, 2025.

I can hardly take in this piece of shit propaganda that showed up in my mail this morning. Bisignano is of course a Trump appointee. I guess they are trying to paper over how much this bill guts the fuck out of seniors on medicare, medicaid, & Social Security???  Is there no low they will stoop to?

i'm surprised by how low energy and farcical that whole military parade situation was. I was expecting Moscow 1945 and we got Spirit Halloween instead.

Remarkable.

MSNC: "I want to reiterate this has been 100% peaceful."

Seconds later, LA County sheriffs start firing on the crowd.

Yet again, "law enforcement" deliberately escalated.

This is a pretty important point!
The correct way to connect the authoritarian presence in LA and the Big Beautiful Bill is that the bill gives the government the resources to do this in dozens of cities at once. So if you don't like what's happening in LA, it's coming to your town if the bill passes.

Also a repeat of the idea that because of events in L.A., Congress should pass the wildly unpopular omnibus bill that cuts Medicaid, SNAP, energy credits, and so on.
“Stand with ICE”—as if it’s an oppressed group deserving of solidarity 🤡. This is a simulacrum of leftist rhetoric, appropriated by the extreme right.

What is really fascinating to me is based on what social media site I'm scrolling, vastly different topics could be trending.

BlueSky has trends I don't see anywhere else. (Very cool)

BlueSky also seems to have a much wider demographic (international) than some of the others. (Also very cool)
