When I made the decision to get an illustrated cover for my trans demon romance 'A Damning Desire' (thanks to @dania_sang as always). It was really important to me to have a clench cover. I grew up on the old HQN and Mills and Boons books and I always wanted a Black LGBQT+ person on the cover.

My art sometimes gets compliments that basically go like..."I love how you include women of color in your art"....and I understand what you mean BUT I am half BLACK and I'm from Philly so I would naturally expect Black woman and characters of color to be in my art.
Why wouldn't they be there? 🤔
