This is especially true for art I've done for authors that I can't show yet, simply because I can't show you half of what I've worked on yet without permission....plus I just REALLY started bookcover/ book related art this year.

On a personal note, I only do fanart of characters I really like myself for fun, but I also don't HAVE to do them all because it's about what I want to do as an artist. I hate that artists feel pressured to keep up with the newest fandom/anime trend and make fanart even when they don't like it.

The story behind the honey buns is that I was talking to my friend and showing him the drawing and he said "give him a honey bun" as he was explaining how someone stole a honey bun from an employee at work 😭
