Some thinky thinks.

When I was 18, a family friend said I was "obviously not a genius" to my face, so take what I say with a grain of salt 😝

Literally like bullies whose whole approach is intimidating their victims into complying through the threat of violence while simultaneously being unable to back it up.

Fight them on EVERYTHING.

A friend told me that AI has come leaps and bounds in the last 6 months so I tried one out today for the first time in a long time by asking it if there were any grammar issues in my resume and it told me at least 2 things that were blatantly false

The @uaw.org has won a tentative agreement from VW nearly two years after workers voted to unionize in Chattanooga.

Over 3,000 workers will get:

- A 20% raise
- Better healthcare
- A bonus of about $6,550 per worker upon ratification

And much more.

Sir Ian McKellen performing a monologue from Shakespeare’s Sir Thomas More on the Stephen Colbert show. Never have I heard this monologue performed with such a keen sense of prescience. Nor have I ever been in this exact historical moment.TY Sir Ian, for reaching us once again.

Btw if you have the time and energy I absolutely recommend reading The Wheel of Time series *twice*

This series was great the first time, and even richer the second. This second timer I am keeping track of more people, and catching many more details, breadcrumbs, and foreshadowing.

What I always hear: “We can’t afford to pay our workers more than $15 an hour.”

What I never hear: “We can’t afford to pay our CEO millions of dollars a year.”

Funny how that works.
