When I was struggling through a long stretch of burnout before the pandemic, a counselor suggested trying to remember something that had made me happy in the past - a hobby, a band, whatever - and digging back into that, no matter how silly. Feels like good advice to try to return to now.

Creamy PB, chunky ginger-peach-pear preserves, on Italian white bread, buttered and pan-grilled like a grilled cheese. Till the bread is golden-crisp and peanut butter is beginning to melt.

Have my first cold since starting steroid, and getting sick while on a daily steroid is crazy! Cold symptoms are weirdly muted but #adrenal symptoms turned up to 11. Makes it really difficult to accurately judge both dosing and pacing my daily activities. #ChronicIllness
