the reluctance for anyone still actively supporting Twitter/X to reconsider about what they're doing remarkable. Would you keep working or giving quotes to a newspaper that was publishing erotica about 11 year old kids? or photos of people that were photoshopped to remove their clothing?

Had to drive to Sydney for business today. The engine of my fossil fuel burning car overheated. The irony is not lost on me.
But days like these also underscore why we need to double down and continue fighting for a rapid cut to emissions.

If we don't, these days will become the summer norm. These catastrophic days will get worse - out of control fires we simply can't fight.

This includes Albanese pushing for the extension of the mammoth and inexcusable extension of Woodside's North West Shelf LNG plant to 2070 last year.

The scale of which is a genuine threat to our way of life.

A single project that will produce 8 times the emissions of our Pacific neighbours.

And my utter contempt for the enablers of this parasitic industry that is doing us all so much harm.

In the face of these climate catastrophes, Australia is exported record high amounts of coal and gas to the world.

Fueling the fires that are destroying our way of life.

Coal and gas companies are shutting down music festivals, destroying summer sports events.

Their greed is seeing houses and communities destroyed, burnt to a cider, livestock burnt to death. They are fueling the destruction of our parks and forests through out of control fires.

I feel nothing but fury at the fossil fuel companies destroying our way of life on catastrophic fire days like today.

The sheer greed and selfishness of these gas and coal executives killing the Australian dream of care free summers camping by the beach with friends and family.

I’m don’t like conspiracy theories.

But the longer I report on climate change and Big Oil, the clearer it becomes that what we’re dealing with an *actual conspiracy,* and we need to label it as such.

Trump’s latest actions in Venezuela make this all the more clear.
It's time to embrace climate conspiracy
Trump’s Venezuela oil play exposes what climate reporting has documented for decades—if we’re willing to say it out loud.

Zionism needs to be completely rooted out of Australian society.

It fosters hate and seeks to undermine Australian domestic politics by forcing the will of the Israeli govt on our society.

Despite everything we’ve seen over the past two years, this is probably the most shameful episode in Australian media history/ political collusion.

The lead story on the SMH is Albanese’s political opponent, who lost his seat, trying to force the government to back his own pick for a RC. Madness.

Glorious. Stick it on the front page.
