I've spent 40+ hours refining this feed to get the best selection of fighting game content on Bluesky, and I'm constantly improving it. Tap the '...' and pin it as a tab on 🏠, and please 🤍 it for visibility. It's curated and sorted, but it'll surface #fgcpulse for a few hours, so knock yourself out!
I think fighting games can unlock the key to happiness, no exaggeration. The FG grind starts out buzzing with exhilarating potential but sours immediately if expectations exceed performance. The way to keep the joy of the early days is to identify and release definitions and expectations of success.
Perhaps the most unexpected thing I learned from teaching fighting games over the last ten years is that the things people need to learn the most aren't really fighting game skills but life skills.
Fighting games just give you a fun way to expose these gaps before real life does.

Taking the weekend to get a better ending on Hollow Knight before I get Silksong, and I just have to say no one who's cleared the White Palace or defeated the Radiance in any form has any right to complain about fighting game combos being difficult.

#2xko is offline for the weekend, and it's got me thinking how it's cool that it's already avoided the tragedy of multiversus with its offline mode. All characters unlocked, no need to connect to a server. Even if it never came back, it would still have a scene for years. Nicely done.
