Matt Goodwin labelled 'chicken' after pulling out of first by-election hustings
Matt Goodwin has been accused of 'chickening out' of the first hustings for the Gorton and Denton by-election, citing "concerns about impartiality."

Is worthless and easily bought" what they do mean, though?

I'd have thought "cheap at any price" indicates that they see him as good value for money, which is arguably more damning.
"Tommy Robinson appears in the Epstein files, described as “cheap @ any price”.
When even Jeffrey Epstein & Steve Bannon are privately dismissing you as worthless and easily bought, it tells you something.
He's willing to sell out his beloved UK for a bag of fish & chips!!"

Pretty sure Trump just wants his Board of Peace so he can refer to himself as 'Top Bop'

Kind of ironic he knows brainrot.

In Judge Dredd lore, Futsies were citizens who suffered from "Future Shock Syndrome"; unable to stand the pace of 21st century living, they'd go into violent frenzies. I think I might be coming down with that.

Private Eye offers up an excellently scornful commentary on the relentless polling. It’s become ridiculous and has oversimplified our politics to dangerous levels of stupid and irresponsible.

If this became a weekly series, it would run longer than The Simpsons.

Farcebook have sent me this 5-years-ago reminder of when I owned a phone with psychotic predictive text. Around this time it offered up 'Dignitas' for "Busy week: [my son] is off to..."

Rewatching Knowing, seeing as it's disappearing from Prime soon. One of NC's better films I think, but someone really should have checked his make-up before rolling the camera.

Wife already has her small work desk Christmas tree up. I regret moving the decorations storage from our loft to our closet.

Spawn#2 has gotten me watching Arcane on Netflix. It's brilliant, 3 epsisodes in and I'm completely hooked.

Kid #2 dropped off at the station, shopping done, stew on the go in the slow cooker, about to walk the dog. I could get used to days off when my wife works (and complains about literally everything 😀)

Found a box of old training notepads from an earlier job in the loft the other day. Now I'm not saying it's been far too long since I sorted this particular part of the loft, but this was being used as a bookmark.
