I get why he doesn’t and he’s probably right not too but a part of me really wishes TK would throw $$ behind Andrade to battle this in court. It would screw his own talent contracts as collateral damage but I wonder how much good will it would earn him to take down this ridiculous practice. 🤼

Surely if TNA is going up against AEW, WWE is going to have to throw TNA some guys to actually make this a tussle, right? That TNA roster is brutal for the most part. Surely throw AJ Styles down there or CM Punk for a mini run.

I hadn’t thought of it before but I think this will absolutely happen. The only thing that’ll stop it is the “Slim Jim Effect” that took place when they did finally get rid of him. Cena is going to want VKM there and this will be the best excuse the fed has to bring him back. 🤼
I'm starting to firmly believe that if they move Cena's final match to go against World's End, as rumored, we'll see the return of Vince that night; knowing that's the one thing that could DEFINITELY draw the social media attention away from it.

The WWE running a counter main roster PPV has nothing to do with trying to draw #AEW viewers away or keeping their fans from watching. It, like countering the other #AEW PPVs, is to make the IWC and media have to split time to both companies. They’re aiming to deprive #AEW of any solo exposure. 🤼

It is remarkable how little WWE execs & wrestlers have mentioned the fans (sorry, the WWE Universe) in any media interviews lately. They take their fanbase for granted because, honestly, why wouldn't they? The vast majority of WWE fans seem very eager to slop up anything.
Fiscally, it doesn’t seem to me WWE is built around fan enjoyment anymore- they’re built around contracts. By being on Netflix, they can somewhat obscure actual viewership to corporate partners, and do big stunts when needed to boost that viewership.

I keep thinking that this time in pro wrestling history is much like the early ‘90s before the steroid scandal. Scandals kept popping up for WWF but they were able to keep them squashed for the most part. Their booking was uninspired and lazy. They relied on their top guy (Hogan) until the fans….

I think Cody signed onto AEW in the first place because he wanted to be the booker like his dad, and once that was no longer an option, he quickly lost interest and retreated to his corner to wait out the end of his deal.
