Yesterday, the Epic Games Store decided at the last minute not to distribute the game, after having previously approved a release build. HORSES is otherwise now available on GOG, Itch, and Humble for $4.99. www.horses.wtf

Finally got around to playing The Forgotten City by Modern Storyteller since I was on a time loop game kick. Highly recommended, both for the time mechanic as well as some great historical/mythical fiction.

400,000 US troops died fighting against people wearing swastikas in World War II.
Exclusive: The U.S. Coast Guard will no longer classify the swastika, nooses and the Confederate flag as hate symbols.

The military service drafted a new policy that classifies them as “potentially divisive.”

We don't know. What we do know is the wiring diagram works. We built it, virtually, in @godotengine.org. We fed it scans of the books we found.

And the books are very, very strange. The "game" that resulted is also strange.

We're hoping people can make sense of it for us.

"my least woke opinion is---"

That's enough. We've had enough people indulging in the "thrill of a little conservatism", as a treat. Of considering reactionary thought to be a salacious and taboo in a world descending into reactionary mania.

Give me your MOST woke opinions. We're bringing it back.

"The dog that didn't bark" is a phrase from a Sherlock Holmes story that means the absence of evidence can be a clue to solving a mystery. The dog's silence indicated that the thief was someone the dog knew, not a stranger. Meaning: what is not said, seen, or done, can be as revealing as what is.

Time to install SteamOS on my PC and be done with it.
Can’t see any reason for sw engineers to choose Windows with this weird direction they are doubling down on

So odd because Microsoft has building dev tools in their DNA… their OS doesn’t look like anything a builder who wants OS control could choose

Mac or Linux it is for devs

He is a computer safety researcher.

And he has written one of the most compelling, comprehensive accounts of the ongoing hell in Chicago that you could possibly imagine.

How about we shut down the government for this very popular and specific goal and then, hear me out, we hold out for like a month and a half and then, ok this part is important, after a watershed election where we ran the table, ONLY THEN, fold and don't get the one thing we said we wanted.

A Sharon Begley byline, almost 5 years after her death.

Upon hearing the news James Watson had died, a STAT reporter said in our Slack, "I wish I could read what Sharon would have written."

Incredible news: Sharon in fact did pre-write a Watson obit. And it is masterful and excoriating.
