i GUESS im getting old but teenagers now are especially unbearable because of the lack of age appropriate online spaces. none of them got to be cringe without being made fun of by people like 2x their age in mass so now theyre really mean and extremely self conscious because its all they know

One thing that's been heavily proven to me is Bluesky is not all politics. The music, record, cd, movie, books, horror and lots more scenes are heavily alive and well here with almost zero negativity. Better engagement here than Facebook has been in years.

i think humans are, for the most part, inherently pretty good. we've been inundated in a world that teaches us to hurt others (and it hurts ourselves to do so as well) out of fear and repression, but it's not natural. if it was the few who AREN'T good wouldn't work so hard to keep it that way
