The new pope signed up for Twitter in 2011 with a Hotmail email address that he also used for a lot of other stuff, which is how I know that he's probably the first pope on Zynga and almost certainly the first pope on Tumblr

🧵 THREAD: A federal whistleblower just dropped one of the most disturbing cybersecurity disclosures I’ve ever read.

He's saying DOGE came in, data went out, and Russians started attempting logins with new valid DOGE passwords

Media's coverage wasn't detailed enough so I dug into his testimony:

Honestly you should check out Atmosphere too. This is old stuff, but Lucy Ford, Strictly Leakage, and "When life gives you lemons paint that shit gold" are all golden and worth a listen.

Costco and Trader Joes are yin and yang. Together they form a harmonious balance. One sells big piles of normal food, the other sells small piles of weird food. These are the two food piles people need

I think every country should have a tv channel where politicians should be answering questions from an unvetted, anonymous audience, while under the influence of sodium pentothal.

not because it's a magical truth serum. I just think any who wants power over me should be ritually humiliated.

One thing I will say gently is, I think "mutual aid" sounds academic or theoretical to a lot of people because the US education system does not meaningfully teach Black history.

Formal mutual aid societies were an integral part of how freed/escaped enslaved people helped each other survive.
This is a great thread, but what struck me about it is that my grandmother had a term for what's being described here. She called it, "being neighborly," and it was just par for the course in the small town where she lived for most of her life. "Mutual aid" sounds academic, but "neighborly" doesn't.
I think a lot of people have mutual aid confused with charity on here, maybe because folks most often see it in the context of fundraiser asks (which are great!).

I want to talk a little about what it looks like in everyday life.

Because we need it more than ever. Government is getting shredded.

Terry Gilliam's "Brazil" is a cyberpunk film about incel culture in the 1970s. It still remains one of my favorite Christmas films.

Seems Koreans have discovered ATCQ and are just making playlists of old school hip hop. Pretty legit.
