Made a point to walk by the protest tonight. I heard them before I saw them. So great to see so many people out using their voices. #abpoli #transrightsarehumanrights

Just dreaming but imagine this to keep cars slow with bike lanes on the edges. Maybe some day…

Teachers you have come so far. Please keep fighting for Alberta’s kids!

It’s time for all Albertians to get loud!

To change everything we need everyone!

Central Alberta’s water is evaporating away. What use to be a full lake is now water with a wide shore line. The moist earth is not supportive past the last rooted vegetation. How will the animals drink?

This is the other side of my sign.
October 5, 2025 at 4:05 PM
I’m so mad I started carrying this sign around with me where ever I went last week. When I am not out and about it’s in my front window.
You too can carry a sign or put it in your window. Funding education should not be controversial.

I am really impressed with the temporary basketball ball court set up in the new Eau Claire plaza. What a great way to activate the space between events. Also the trampoline at the adjacent park is lots of fun!

I came across this map and it got me thinking. I am sure we all agree that in 1000 years we won't be burning NG here in AB. What will become of all this capital?

It looks like a dystopian land scape out side but it’s just the first day of school in Calgary; going into over crowded underfunded schools with book bans attempting to stop us from questioning what got us here and how to fix it.

Air Quality not so great for first day of school in #yyc #Maskup

How many teachers would your neighborhood school have if AB students were funded equal to the national average?

I have been having fun posting this link with screenshots of local schools on different community FB pages.

With the QEII backed up last night we came into the city via RR13. My observation is new communities are being built with insanely wide roads. But also saw this double curb at the W corner of Harvest and Contry Hills Blvd that I am wondering why we are not using in residential areas more often?

Apparently women use to wear this contraption to hold thier pads in place before stickers were created?

Its like the river valley is determined to continue to erode, meander and reshape its self no matter what we do.

This seems like it should go with out saying, no? What a confusing rule to have included.

That wet ashtray smell in yyc right now is the smell of climate change caused by burning fossil fuels.
