I think the wrong questions r being asked about the proposed tariffs. The real question Is how little will he accept from Mexico , Canada and China in order to be able to say the threat of tariffs worked ?

While I'm definitely worried about the negative impacts of the next administration, I'm more worried about the cover-up of the impact data. Recall that Trump did everything he could to hide COVID data.

It relates to this myth about the “glory” of war. There is no glory in war - there is only death, and then more death. There is also no “glory” in being a soldier and killing people. It is just a job - a dangerous and often physically exhausting job.
Sun Tzu's Art of War is a misleading title for those unfamiliar with the book. The Art of War is not about strategies for fighting battles; it's the art of not fighting battles. It's about winning wars by not fighting them. It's about starting by winning the war and fighting the battles later. 1/2
