Things change and you change as a person too. I am not the same person I was 10 years ago when I dropped out. I learned a lot, I lost a lot, I gained a lot too. And thought it wasn't the path I wanted to venture on, I'm glad I left university when I did and chose to continue my life another way.

I was always ashamed of being a university dropout at 18, I only returned to university last year at the age of 27, part-time. And you know what? That's okay. There is no time line for these things. You don't need to have it all figured out by 25 like the world wants you to believe. Life happens,

What I liked about Heated Rivalry was that it was an enemies to lovers romance about two folks
- really really liked fucking each other and making sure each other enjoyed the fucking WITHOUT THINKING LESS OF EACH OTHER

I have said this before, but as someone who covered Gamergate, I always read Jesse's stuff on that matter because he did a great job digging into it! He was one of the earliest people writing about weaponized harassment! Very interesting, given the turn things took!
Singal is yet another former friendly acquaintance who lost their mind and/or went to the dark side. People may not remember that before he started asking questions about trans people's right to exist, he was a decent if unremarkable science writer. Used to come on my podcast to talk climate, etc.
