Signing up for the PS Patreon has been on my to-do list for a while now - this is just the reminder I needed. I’ll use the promo code “McDLT” so y’all will know what sent me.

McDonald's now has me in their actual influencer fold, so I'm certainly not complaining. I still pay for my fries, though.

It's a fairly common board game, but yeah, it's the McDonald's Game by Milton Bradley. You can snap one up fairly cheap.

Thank you!

It would take several lifetimes to find everything on eBay. I bought all of this in one 4,700 mile, 6-day road trip, so you can't beat the efficiency of hitting the road when you're connected with the right collectors.

I find glasses all the time, but I had punted it for so long that I decided to grab a couple of different sets while I was in the mood. The pumpkin right next to me is a rare 1991 regional McBoo Pail with black "m" shaped ears - really tough to find.

I think that makes me an influencer?
November 25, 2025 at 2:35 PM
Yeah, that one isn't going into the archives - we'll be playing it on Thanksgiving for sure.

Thanks for the shoutout, as always. The work never ends, but a trip haul like this one makes it all worth it. I hope your crew comes and follows along - probably going to squeeze in one more McDonald’s buying trip before the end of the year!

And they're from the 1986 TEST run, not the 1987 national set - still can't believe I found them.

Thank you! I've always said - the Spaceship set were the first truly great Happy Meal toys and probably on my McDonald's toy Mount Rushmore.

It's two different 7" pressings of their 1963 ad campaigns! No trace of either of them on Discogs. Under those are the 1972 and 1974 pressings of Ronald doing the Night Before Christmas which are considerably less rare.

Sounds like I need to drop what I'm doing and head to Irvine!

The 1986 test market Muppet Babies stuff is so tough. I might be the first person to assemble the ceiling danglers, big/small translites and crew poster... and it took me until this trip to find them.
November 25, 2025 at 12:02 PM
The Kermit is a ceiling dangler from the 1986 TEST run of Muppet Babies Happy Meal toys - fortunately, I was able to get all four characters unused... certainly the only ones I've ever seen.

The set up is now a legit five-hour process and involves the top rung of a ladder to get the shot. Series finale will inevitably require a helicopter.

They aren't XXL, but the pricetags on them certainly were. Hahahahaha.

Everything is better with the McDLT license plate
November 25, 2025 at 2:35 AM
Better - it's a satin jacket with the name "Bobbi" embroidered on the front. Since my name is Bobby, I will, in fact, be wearing it every day.

That is such a sad, yet happy story. I love it.
