And this is exactly why we need New Democrats. Ones who understand that there is no working with Republicans because they are a party who not only support what happened on January 6th, but also support what ICE is doing to Minneapolis, Chicago, and other US cities.
Congressional Republicans like what Donald Trump did on January 6th.

They applaud it. They congratulate DJT on his crimes.

They would condone it happening again. They are willing to watch the demise of the United States because of their fealty to one lawless man.

🚨🚨🚨 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

I am calling on @quigley.house.gov to join me in my calls to Abolish ICE and to return the more than $20,000 he received in campaign donations in 2025 from companies that are actively working with ICE.

You've been in Congress since 2009. How many bills have you put forward that would provide universal childcare? Or how about universal Pre-K? School meals?

That's what I thought.

All talk, and not a fucking ounce of action.
I don’t think this administration gives a damn about kids.

Here’s what I’m running to do:

Abolish ICE.
End the Genocide in Gaza.
Tax the shit out of the rich.
Medicare for All.
Universal childcare.
Solve The Housing Crisis
Paid family leave
Raise the Minimum Wage to $20/hr

What’s my opponent doing? Running for mayor.

Every ICE officer who has broken the law should be arrested, tried, and imprisoned for their crimes.

Yesterday, I had the privilege of joining @pattivasquez.bsky.social and her guest co-host Dr. Kathy Tinus on “Driving It Home with Patti Vasquez ” to discuss our campaign, what we’re fighting to achieve, and why we need to Abolish ICE 🧊.

Chicago needs to take an all-of-the-above approach to our debt.

That should include a rapid re-expansion to peak population of 3.5 million residents.

Hey @govpritzker.illinois.gov - this is how you fucking do it.
Virginia Governor Abigail Spanberger just issued an executive order shutting down state police cooperation with Trump’s ICE immediately after taking office.

Mike Quigley just continues to send billions of taxpayer dollars to a continue to fund war criminals and a genocide.

But he’s not alone. 153 Democrats voted to do the same.

VOTE THEM ALL OUT.

Earlier today, Donald Trump told Reuters “when you think about it, we don’t even need an election”

I think he’s gonna do everything he can to stay in office for the rest of his life, including use of the recent events in Minneapolis to invoke the insurrection act cancel the 2026 midterms.

The minimum wage is still $7.25/hour, we have 26 million Americans without health insurance, and over 800,000 people in this country are homeless.

But yet, @quigley.house.gov votes to send another $3.3 Billion to a country that is live streaming a genocide.

We deserve better representatives.
NEW: 153 House Democrats voted with the Republican majority to pass the Financial Services and General Government and National Security, Department of State, and Related Programs Appropriations Act, 2026 which includes an additional $3.3 BILLION in aid to Israel.

Senate Democrats absolutely have to shut the govt down to stop this ICE insanity in the Twin Cities. This is not sustainable & cannot be normalized. Any Democratic vote to provide money to the thugs who are brutalizing this community is a grave betrayal to the people here. Accountability can't wait.

Vote all incumbents out. We’re in safe Dem districts. Let’s try sending people to congress who give a damn.
Dear Dem friends,
The Dem 2026 primaries are going to be immensely important. Probably the most important primaries in our lifetime. Don't skip them.

Trump, Obama, & Biden all sold Saudi Arabia multiple weapons packages during their time in office.

Re-read that. We sold weapons to a country who helped the September 11th terrorist attack.

A terror attack that killed 2,976 Americans, including my father Kevin Conroy.

Last weeks announcement only confirmed one thing - Mike Quigley Isn't Thinking About His District, Only His Own Political Future.

The Fifth District deserves better. We all deserve better than a part-time, empty suit Congressman.

Step aside Mike.

Time for you to do the same @quigley.house.gov. The voters of our district deserve better representation than a part-time congressman who’s running for mayor.
Long-shot congressional candidate Bruce Leon, who has said the influential pro-Israel lobbying organization AIPAC pressured him into dropping out of the race for Illinois’ 9th Congressional District, officially filed paperwork Tuesday to remove his name from the ballot and endorsed Phil Andrew.
