When Israeli forces besieged Kamal Adwan Hospital last December, Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya refused to abandon the babies in ICU.

He said, "We have babies & newborns that are in the ICU...we cannot leave the hospital because there is no other hospital that is providing services..."

Bombed by Israel in May, it has returned stronger, sailing directly into Israel’s so-called “interception zone” to challenge both the blockade & the press blackout on Gaza.

Ten boats launched from Italy & Spain, organized by Freedom Flotilla Coalition & Thousand Madleens to Gaza. On board are nearly 70 people from more than 20 countries, including elected officials from Ireland, Belgium, Spain, Denmark, France, & the U.S., with doctors, farmers, artists, & activists.

✅ The Marinette kept sailing even after every other boat had been taken, refusing to give up. It took Israel another 24 hours to track them down and seize them.

Even though the first flotilla has now been intercepted, they didn’t give up, & neither can we.

And a second wave is already on the way.

As of a few hours ago, the last boat in the flotilla has been illegally intercepted by Israeli forces. But there is still much to celebrate:

✅ The Mikeno was the first aid ship to break through Israel’s blockade & make it to Palestinian waters in 18 years of siege.
