We all need our cope. But I *would* take Bradish over any of their top five, at least

Oh look at us, we're the Blue Jays. We've got an "ace" who's been in steep decline, a gimmick screwball thrower who's pitched like 5 MLB games, a TJ returner whose stuff was a standard deviation below average, the most inconsistent game-to-game pitcher on earth, and a strict two-pitch underperformer

Objectively... ok not really, there's some copium here, but let me cook... but objectively, this is a rotation that has some real, maybe even more likely than not, downside risk from every single guy

Local news had a guy at the scene and the entire time there was a National Guard guy in the background of the shot just hanging out and staring at his phone

I did a lot of sensitivity testing on Predict+ to try to validate it against outcome stats and most were pretty tenuous (coefficients around 0.1) and I got pretty skeptical of my own work, but then did something similar with Stuff+ and got the same thing. Which is both fine and instructive

That's not to say there aren't people whose personal politics lean conservative in these organizations, but they're not political appointees or think tankers. And even then they're a minority even in organizations (American Legion, Catholic ministries, Scouts) that code as small-c conservative

Doesn't Keller also have ridiculous home/away splits? (Answer: yes until this year, apparently)

I'm a Wolves fan, at least let us have this joke

It's weird to contract for something without a specific use case in mind, and rolling new IT products out for actual use in federal agencies is a slow, grinding process (for both good security reasons and bad bureaucratic ones)

Could probably get Braxton Garrett for a song too

I sent this to my colleagues yesterday as we look into qualitative research applications for LLMs, thanks for including all the methods notes and the exact prompt. Lots in there I wouldn't have thought to include. Was that the first prompt you used or did you get there through trial-and-error?

A lot of it is just religion. DSA meetings were a huge turn off to me because they felt like an unholy melding of megachurches and Model UN where everyone's talking about Twitter all the time
