The landlord stayed up all night reviewing security footage to help the police find the suspect.

Feels worth pointing out that in googling him to learn more, I found out that the landlord is an immigrant who came to America in 1979 from Belarus. www.boston25news.com/news/local/l...

ICE agents also pulled over a woman and abducted her at the corner of 38th and Hiawatha on Thursday. They left her vehicle running idle near the turn lane at the intersection. This is objectively a safety issue. No one in the state is willing to comment.
These ICE agents MUST be charged with state crimes: Mubashir a 20-year-old Somali American citizen was taking his lunch break when a federal agent abruptly tackled him. He told them he was a US citizen. There's NO immunity for ICE agents if they assault a US citizen www.huffpost.com/entry/minnes...

At @inthesetimes.com, we've been following how tenant unions are adapting strategies from organized labor.

Here's a fascinating story about the flipside: a corporate landlord taking a page from anti-union employers, even hiring a "union avoidance" firm. (1/8)

Trump: "Well they can't be happy. If you look at Somalia they're taking over Minnesota." And this - in a long line of off-hand, objectively dumb comments from the President that spurred ICE deployments.
