Swapped two print heads on the OCE Arizona 350GT flatbed printer at work yesterday. Still recovering them as they're used heads but oh man is the jump in quality already there 😻

Was pumping gas whistling the tune of "Cabbage rolls and coffee" today and the woman using the opposite pump complimented me on being a very good whistler 😅 I mostly don't realize I'm doing it which has been "fun" for coworkers in the past 😅

Interesting fact Solitaire was on a lot of these early devices because it helped people learn how to use the drag and drop function on those newfangled pointer devices.

Me: "You run solitaire now."

Okay so long story short for simplicity I've been running my home server on Win 10, with the Win 11 BS I'm thinking it's finally time to install Debian.

Lol the DJ's Double J's had paper stuffed as packaging and it's just a segment about 18 inches or rolling paper 😅

yeah, they like it when pregnant people suffer and if they can vilify both autism and the parents of autistic kids at the same time, it's a real win-win for them. disgusting but pretty straightforward

if you want to understand tailoring, you only need to watch mid-century movies, when actors were dressed by tailors, not brands. in the 1944 film cover girl, gene kelly's suit drapes beautifully, moving with him, not against him. collar stays on his neck, even as he dances.

My boss and I had a heated discussion about minimizing waste from a 4"x8" coroplast sheet. Im for sq.inch. he's for a larger singular dimensional sheet.

This was sparked because I opted to save an L comprised of a 32"x24" piece that is attached to another 16"x24"(48") section instead of one 24"x48"

How you're supposed to press control+/ while using a right handed mouse to highlight vs how I press it 9 times out of 10, because my brain won't let me unanchor my pinky from the corner of the board 😅

Vans cheaped out on their construction while keeping the price sky high so I need to find new daily shoes that last longer than 3 months.

Anybody know where I can get a size 14 quality shoe?

I'm starting to think I need to just buy an industrial sewing machine and fulfill my dream of making one...

Attempting to reverse engineer the programming on some RFID chips from work because this type of thing is weirdly something I've always done. At one point in highschool I learned how to read by sight 0-9 in a Code 128 barcode. I can't do it still but I can see the patterns.

I have weird hobbies...

Retrofit my garage door from an old school deadbolt and bad dummy handles to a proper Schlage door knob with keypad.

Of course I forgot to take pictures of the impressive part where I made a temp plug so I could align the larger size hole saw over the old hole.

Fixed my TV and now I diagnosed and am working on my Sister-in-law's that coincidentally just went 😅 got talking on how I've always been fascinated by electronics and desired the knowledge to repair my own but this is definitely not something I received a formal education on.
Considered it though...

Went to one of my favourite restaurants in St Catharines yesterday, Al Noor for the first time since they renovated and were under new management, still the best! I ate my Lamb shawarma platter so fast I didn't even get a picture.
Also grabbed these at the Halaal grocer attached and they're so good!
