I visited 200 hiring managers at their private homes to stand out during the recruitment process. Here is what I've learned:

1. Standing out can be a bad thing, if you stand out as "invasive" and "really weird"!

2. Stalking is a crime in a lot of countries!

3. A firm handshake is important!
