Went back and made both the character movement and dirt systems significantly more efficient; I think all that's really left are the enemy AI (which is apparently weirdly difficult to do in GameMaker?) and being able to push multiple apples at once. #gamedev #indiedev

Figured that the Do!-like may have been a little too ambitious and decided to start work on another project, until I remembered that trying to implement slopes is apparently the Worst Thing You Can Possibly Do in pre-GMS2 GameMaker. #gamedev #indiedev
