I keep seeing people say "AOC is a liberal" and like. I hopped onto one of her instagram livestreams once and a commenter asked her to define socialism and she gave a more theoretically-grounded and thoughtful answer than what most of what I see passing for "communism" on the internet.

a TTRPG pet peeve of mine is when people refer to the GM role (or equivalents) as being reflective of a(n implicitly negative) "hierarchy". same deal as people who think anarchism means "no specialized roles or decision-makers" and it's an immediate tell that you don't live in the real world tbh

I have a loosely-held belief that labor is actually the wrong lever to pull on to bring universal human dignity, and that targeting landlords (residential and commercial) and interest-bearing debt is what will create the real feedback loops we want
