Thanks Joe. I am pleased that my PhD research findings & book were submitted as evidence by the Law society of Kenya highlighting the criminalisation of farmers for saving their own seeds contradicting Kenya‘s constitution and restricts farmer’ rights to their own seed choice.

Thanks Teresa. If only more people( esp younger generation coming through) could do PhDs without following corporate commercial interests. That is having a very negative colonial type Impact especially in those countries like in Africa where corporations are so powerful.
Kenya sounds like the frontline in the struggle against climate change. I’m glad they’ve got you backing them up. It shows what valuable work is done in PhDs. Congrats again on yours, it’s a great achievement.

Tomorrow Farmers in Kenya learn if their appeal of their Seed and Plant varieties Act 2012 which criminalised them for saving and sharing their own seed varieties is successful.They were backed by the Law society of Kenya who included research findings from my PhD& book. We live in hope🙏🏼
