The study follows the COP30 new Tropical Forests Forever Facility, which aims to mobilise billions for climate finance. It would pay forested countries to leave their tropical forests untouched.

Of course I should qualify it is not the younger generation's fault. Universities, especially humanities and the social sciences are under such threat everywhere from the commercial 'interests'. Critical thinking is diminished by this. Plus how to do a PhD and buy or even rent a house in Ireland!?

Thank You. The farmers are truly heroic in these countries at the forefront of climate change, they are least responsible for but they also have to deal with giant corporations& bad governance trying to dismantle their naturally rich seed systems.

Anna Wanza, one of the leading farmer/petitioners in the case died before this historic win in Kenya. Her daughter came in her name today to witness it. Agriculture is the heart and soul of Kenya.💚
