Mother's Day comes to a bittersweet end.
On the way home from dinner - traffic stopped on the highway - a young deer hit mortally and yet alive.
My kids and I put her in our truck and connected with local PD to see her humanely relieved of her suffering. She was so beautiful. I am touched.
