As mentioned before (and stated over & over again by rahaeli who fights those laws), those laws de-anonymize every single internet user, and that personal info can be used for censorship and/or retaliation by the state.

Privacy is not only a right, it also keeps people safe, kids included.

Internet means connection and support for many teens that belong to a minority group and this cuts them off from that. (e.g. LGBT+, neurodivergent, etc.)

This is one of those safe third spaces you want to delete. Third spaces that can save lives.

(Except worse, because now you are giving every predatory site and data collecting business further justification to push the boundaries on and normalise collecting directly corroborating and identifying data of all its users.)

That is exactly what you are saying to do by banning kids off the net, yes exactly.

The flaws of these policies are endless. Under some of these settings, the sites are literally "authenticating" kids on these sites. That's the opposite of adding safe guards.

Almost as if the issue is putting in actually appropriate safeguards and tackling the issue openly in its complexity - not just pretending that haphazardly 'banning' kids from the internet is some kind of panacea for All Socio-cultural Problems.

Definitely no reasons why kids might need resources and community that aren't physical spaces controlled by the state or their parents.
