Another reason to love the run is the art of Ed McGuinness. When I think of Joe Kelly's run, I think of the absolutely amazing artwork.

I have all those volumes (and so much more...), but even then I'm not sure if any of them contain Action Comics 775, What's So Funny...
I have every Superman anthology that I can get my hands on, so I assume I have a copy of it SOMEWHERE. But I would love to have a Joe Kelly omnibus.

Thinking about reading this civil war history because I really like its spirit. Sherman's march should have been repeated over every southern state, back and forth, devastating them so that they would never have dared to continue terrorizing freed slaves.

In the Absolute Batman annual, Batman severely fucks up some American nazis. Racists are REALLY unhappy with this. But they have to equivocate miserably in their criticisms, because they know that they can't outright declare that they identify with the nazis.

And Superman and The Authority is another lowkey masterpiece. Not his greatest work, but still a very, very good series that was written with great affection for Superman. No one writes and ageing Superman better than Morrison, but no one writes Superman better than him as well.

I didn't like the New 52 in general. But I loved Grant Morrison's Action Comics. Superman is my favorite character and Morrison writes him with great love and understanding.

If you love genuinely moving narrative games, or if you love cats (and who doesn't love cats?) then Copycat is the game for you.
And, not to spoil it, but if you are worried- it has a very, very sweet ending. Little Dawn ends up just fine.

Charlie Kirk was profoundly racist, sexist and homophobic and willingly made people's lives worse because he was paid to do so. And now people are losing their jobs because they're pointing out that the world is a better place without him in it.

I finally watched Thunderbolts and it was far, far better than I thought that it would be. That movie definitely could have been bigger than it was.
The Sentry was incredibly well handled. For such a problematic character, whose appearances in the comics have been a scattershot, he was great.
