Goddamn, the New York Times sucks. Just a horrible and constantly wrong and shitty equivocating garbage paper.

On the major issues, from invading Iraq, attacking Iran, facilitating mass slaughter in Palestine, etc... they are willing to argue for blatantly immoral and illegal positions.

Antisemitism is a lot like Qanon child abuse conspiracies in that there’s this real and bad phenomenon and, parallel to that, what can only be described as a large scale mass psychosis about a mostly fictional version of the same phenomenon

Canada is supporting Israel because of foreign interference. If your MP is opposed to Chinese, Russian and Indian interference but complicit in Israeli interference, then they are an immoral monster and a low-level traitor.

This in no way benefits Canada. So why the fuck do we tolerate it?
Another bombshell new report just dropped exposing Canada’s complicity in Israel’s genocide on Gaza.

The authors found hundreds of shipments from Canadian military manufacturers to the U.S. weapons factories that manufacture Israel’s warplanes, bombs and artillery shells.

That’s not all:

Why is only Anthropic paying writers for pillaging their work? Meta, who have no valuable social function and who are filthy fucking rich, also pillaged masses of writers. And they have all demonstrably pillaged visual arts of all sorts. Surely Meta, Google, OpenAI, Grok-- all of them-- should pay?

The Game of the Year nominations are up. Death Stranding 2 is the only one I would consider playing.

Lost Records: Bloom & Rage is my game of the year. That it didn't even get nominated for best narrative is ridiculous. Lost Records is one of those titles that people will look at as a classic.

One thing that modern conservatives have really figured out is that their followers do have strongly held beliefs. It's just that those beliefs are based on absolute bullshit. And you cannot, ever, let on that their bullshit beliefs are bullshit. NEVER ask for accountability.

Conservatives are upset. This time because polling shows that SO MANY young American women want to flee the country.

Didn't they understand the program? After having their rights revoked, after being constantly demeaned, they were supposed to suddenly embrace Jesus and have white babies.

The media are engaged in a secondary coverup by not investigating Epstein's political connections. We know that, for instance, the NYT is going to provide cover because they're an incredibly corrupt organization. Their occasional bright spots of reporting are precisely what make them dangerous.

This is because of foreign interference. We are marginalizing pro-Palestinian, anti-genocide voices because of foreign interference. But most Canadians do not support this. Contact your MP. Demand an explanation. Explain that you do not accept their lies. Extract a political cost.

I just searched for cozy horrors on Itch.io We need more cozy horrors. Especially ones that are subversive. Take your time, start out charming and cute and eventually devolve into utter horror.

I know that Steam has the longer titles, but it's nice to support indie devs on itch.

Whenever I read anything absolutely corrupt and lawless about current US politics, I like to note that Poilievre will never criticize this. Our neighbour has fallen into oligarchical corruption and he either utterly approves (very likely) or knows that his core approves (also likely).
I just don’t see how we can pretend even for a moment that anything involving our federal government is remotely normal when the president is covering up his involvement in a child sex trafficking ring. Like, what are we doing here

I love subversive narrative mysteries and horror titles and I'm loving Night in the Woods. It handles characters, location and a sense of mystery and menace with great skill.

It's a game that has hidden depths. And it's a lively visual delight.

I've seen people wonder why Poilievre and the CPC have responded so ham-handedly to the MP defections. I think the answer is simple.

They are very, very dishonest and manipulative people. They are reacting like assholes because THEY CAN'T STOP ACTING LIKE ASSHOLES. Ever.

We need to accept that, when it comes to herd immunity and vital public health, that there can be NO vaccine exemptions except when the exemption is the decision of a qualified doctor. Fuck religious exemptions. Fuck conscience exemptions. Impose consequences that hurt. Suspend driving licenses.

Every little while I search Bluesky to see who is vacationing in Dubai and then I ask them if it wouldn't be more efficient to murder Sudanese babies directly than to do it so indirectly.

No one has agreed with me yet, but it would save them a lot of money.

One day, people will ask moral hypotheticals like, "If you could go back in time, would you strangle Chuck Schumer in his cradle?"

Even his own children and grandchildren will be like, "Oh fuck yes. Give me a glock."
November 10, 2025 at 3:06 AM
It must be horrible to be a Democrat who supports the shutdown and desperately wants that milquetoast party to actually fight against authoritarian takeover and see Chuck Schumer getting ready to respond.

Schumer is both incompetent and unconcerned. The country might fail but Chuck will be fine.

Too bad the press is craven and won't constantly ask the administration about its blatant white supremist policies.

Musk's post seems like the result of an AI prompt to create the most humiliating image possible.

"Elon Musk: I asked Grok to tell me that I have a fat cock. Here's what it came up with."
I know people think Musk only bought Twitter to help the rise of fascism.

While that’s important, I still think it’s secondary to his primary goal, which was to own the place where his fans praise him.

With AI, Musk’s use of the platform for love and validation is only getting more transparent.

Shutting down USAID has killed hundreds of thousands. And you know that the number will go up.

I have very definite ideas as to what should happen to Elon Musk, but want to keep this account so I won't express them.

Musk, Thiel, Zuckerberg, Ellison, et al are all utterly horrible people.

It's a tight competition, but no Canadian government is a corrupt, incompetent and hostile to freedom and democracy than Alberta's. I'm donating to help PressProgress fight against this staggeringly hostile lawsuit.
Hi Bluesky 👋

Small life update: I’m at the centre of a multimillion dollar lawsuit in Alberta launched by a failed candidate for Jason Kenney’s UCP

It may be the longest and most expensive media trial in Canadian history

I’m ready to go public about it and I want to share more details with you 🧵

Thinking about reading this civil war history because I really like its spirit. Sherman's march should have been repeated over every southern state, back and forth, devastating them so that they would never have dared to continue terrorizing freed slaves.
