I think Bluesky is, while maybe not as good, often feels Twitter like somewhere around Twitter's good years.

WhatsApp is ingrained into Irish life even more so than any other comms or social media apps. I've tried to use the other apps, and it seemed futile...

Look, I know I'm probably deluding myself. It was hard enough to leave X as I was hanging onto thinking it could still be Twitter again. I honestly thought it would have fallen apart by now.

There's still resistance to change streets inside the M50 for active travel and bus projects. But regarding density, I was more so thinking around rail investment and claims that the density isn't there to justify it.

Yes, there's definitely issues with some areas being so rural that it's hard to move away from the car as the main/only solution for most people. But what holds our urban areas (including Dublin) back is people thinking they are ultra low density when that's not the case...
