Yeah I've gotta really get more (reasonably) aggressive with it. Embrace my inner carnival barker!

Dammit I wasn’t expecting two of the accounts I respect on here most to immediately come and talk off the ledge haha.

Alright I’m gonna regroup a bit and figure out how to start promoting my stuff here a bit better. The pinned post idea’s a good start, not sure why I didn’t think of it!

BJ Colangelo discussed this around the time that Lilo & stitch remake dropped and she was dead on: these movies that no one actually wants will keep making money because parents are desperate for family friendly entertainment and virtually no one else is bringing that to the box office rn.

Also i'd much rather collab with an indie deveoper like puppet Combo to make a super scary 90s FMV-inspired game than either of those two examples anyway.

Give Sean Evans another talk show immediately though. He's a great interviewer and deserves to ply his trade on a show for grown-ups.

One of their best albums all around, and this remains one of my favorite cover songs ever. Bello's bass work on this track is *insane.*

This show deserved more.

I just saw it and was mesmerized, wondering how the hell they were doing that. Thanks for the explanation and the link!

One of my favorite books of the year. I’ve been craving a pastrami sandwich from Katz’s since that one passage with Ellen and the film critic.

Still haunted (in a bad way) by her father’s retirement party sequence and haunted (in a good way) by the ending.

Yeah same, idk what it is but that trope always gets me, it can make even the most rote piece of potboiler fiction fun.

God this is reminding me that I need to start playing the Alan Wake games, everything I’ve heard makes them sound amazing.

I remember my friend pitching the first game to me as “you’re an author with writer’s block and your wife’s missing.” To which I said “well there’s my two biggest fears!”

Man, Doki Doki was such a mindfuck of a game. I still think about it from time to time.

Same. It is so easy to get down on yourself for not being as productive as you want, but tuning out the chaos of the world is really hard.

lol yes this is so funny, you should stop pandering to the people who voted for him with your increasingly transphobic rhetoric! Make a silly meme about that!!

One of the most “this is a thing that exists” films to ever be made.
