Update on my micro budget horror feature CAMCORDERHEAD:

We did some location scouting today! Got access to an empty building we’re going to use for key sequences in the film. Pretty excited about what we’re going to be able to do here once we start hanging up lights and gels.

Chris La Vigna Frankenstein 2025 Watched Nov 5, 2025 Del Toro made an adaptation of the best novel of all time and said "THE CREATURE IS MY BEST FRIEND AND HE DID NOTHING WRONG EVER, YOU GOT THAT?!" As a fellow monster kid, I love that, even if it cost some of the beautiful tragedy and complexity of the creature's character/the story as a whole. I don't care though. If I want Shelley's version, I'll read the book (again). When I want Del Toro's gorgeously shot tale, full of actors giving performances that seem to imply the assignment was "act like you're in Frankenstein as directed by Douglas Sirk", I'm going to Del Toro baby. 1 like

So a couple of years ago, I helped score this experimental animatic film AUTISTIC MODE, a cool flick where the hook is that all the artists involved (myself included) are on the autism spectrum.

Well, the film’s creator Bob Clark just came out with a new poster for it that rocks.

My wife and I had a nice little #Summerween date night this past Friday, we made cocktails and spooky pizzas, and watched horror movies while we painted little canvas tombstones!

Back in 2016 I wrote an actual letter to Adult Swim, just to say how much I loved the streams and to keep up the good work. They responded by sending me a bunch of laser cut pepper snowflakes and a handwritten note.

Saw Living Colour live for the first time at the Sleepy Hollow Music Festival. Amazing show, four masters of their respective instruments on stage grooving perfectly together.

Corey Glover’s voice is insane, after all these years he still sounds exactly as good as he did on Vivid.

Sometimes working in local news is really cool, like when you get to meet the Headless Horseman because there’s a Music Fest happening in Sleepy Hollow over the weekend.

SPIRIT HALLOWEEN’S STATEMENT: Our teams have been working around the clock to bring back the ultimate Spirit Halloween experience. Unfortunately, international disruptions and supply chain challenges have thrown a wrench in our opening plans. As a result, we are forced to cancel the Egg Harbor Township grand opening event — but we intend to bring this event back next year. In the meantime, Spirit Halloween is still very much alive, with over 1,500 stores on track to open! We will begin opening stores in mid-August for another killer season. The engines are on, and we're full speed ahead. Stay tuned, the best is yet to come.

Just discovered another hidden video gem, THE HYPNOTIC EYE. It ran for a few years on Dallas public access in the late 90s.

A mutant puppet host shows tons of music video mashups, kung fu clips, and video highlights of local Dallas comic/video shops. I am obsessed.
