Season 3 was terrible. We almost quit.

However, they completely rebooted the plot in season 4 and all the remaining seasons were stellar. Incredible comeback and it finished one of the all-time great shows, imo.

It’s like War Games. The only winning move is not to play. Admit turkey sucks, and make it once per year out of tradition. But don’t try to talk yourself into it being anything better than what it is.

And we’d all rather be eating ham or steak.

Sticking with mainstream proteins, you’ve got chicken, beef, pork, turkey & lamb. I’m leaving out goat, bison & anything less popular. For shits and giggles let’s lump all fish/shellfish into “seafood.”

Turkey would clearly be dead last. Though personally I despise super lean cuts of beef more.

Dry brine is light years easier. As someone who did a wet-brined pastrami a few months ago, I find wet brining with a cooler and changing ice to be a pain in the ass.

I don’t understand how so many people consider Mac and cheese a thanksgiving food either.

Yes, I do post it every year. But I actually used to never include Mac & Cheese (not a Thanksgiving food to me) but too many people freaked out about it being left off so now I include it to avoid the hassle.

It’s the stuffing that is rare
