Russ Vought is openly admitting this nomination is a front so he can stay on at the CFPB while he tries to shut it down.

Instead of lowering costs for Americans, Trump and Vought want to make it easier for giant corporations to scam families out of their money.
Trump picks new CFPB director amid efforts to close agency
The nomination of Stuart Levenbach was a "technical" maneuver intended to extend White House budget director Russ Vought's oversight of the agency.

On this day of the Democrats being surrender monkeys, this comment to one of my posts shows how neoliberals just don’t get it and why we’re in this mess. This dude is supposed to be one of our allies, but efficient pricing and protecting landlords is more important to him than preventing homelessness

I will keep saying it until I am blue in the face. Rent reporting needs to be positive-only. There is no amount of "credit building" boost that is worth risking making ANY families homeless

I never wanna hear again "it's too radical to call for abolishing ICE". If US manages to survive and keep democracy, that better be the goddamn first priority in any Democratic platform

While Trump whines about how the left is the only side engaged in political violence, it appears that his folks just engaged in terrorism against a sitting judge. Imagine if FOX gave this 10% of the coverage it gave to Kirk.
Over the weekend, Trump's deputy chief of staff for policy Stephen Miller repeatedly attacked judges, calling them part of an "organized terrorist attack" on the US government....

On Saturday, the home of a judge who ruled against Trump, went up in flames

Be careful of signing up for rent reporting. It might not help your credit score, you may end up paying in substantial $$ fees, and it may cause a lot of harm if you’re late. 90% of landlords check credit and a late rent payment showing up on a report can block you from getting a new apartment
