Europe being proactive on Greenland should probably look like putting trigger troops there. Some amount from many countries. France, Germany, UK, Italy, etc. So that if the US tries to pull "little green men" scenario there's resistance in place.

Because (a lot of) the brits don't see the bad things happening as consequence of Brexit, but as continuation and development of the pre-Brexit bad things, or as consequences of not enough Brexit, or as consequences of Covid.

If USA conquering Greenland can end NATO and (with lower likelihood) Russia invading weaker NATO nations can end NATO then it sure as shit would make sense to do these two things concurrently.
I used to say that Lithuania's fate was linked with that of Taiwan. Now Greenland is in the mix.
