Pathfinder 2e Stan, overthinker, weirdo.
I have never agreed with the negativity some people have towards "being a cheerleader" as a caster. Maybe that's because when I taught my group the game I established a habit of pointing out when a + or - caused a hit/crit. My table always gives teamwork its flowers.

Ya know when I finally looked in depth at the summoner and move it up my tier list I was very tempted to drop Fighter's tier but I figured I would be nice. They do still have some very useful strengths.

Though now I find it even more funny that online discourse places Fighter as OP.

I got this in my YouTube app scroll and I have to say the resemblance in uncanny, they could be cousins.

Live Wire meanwhile has a few strengths. Some of it is energy, including the half that hits on a miss. Plus, while AC is nearly always way higher than Will it's also easiest form of attack to buff, especially at higher levels.

Magus can actually crit this consistently as well.

Injury Echo has a drawback in that all it's damage is physical plus bleed which can be trouble sometimes.

However it is a Save Spell so it doesn't apply MAP, its persistent is way easier to trigger, and targets the Save that is usually lowest until high levels and that you can Bon Mot.

#pathfinder2e / #starfinder2e have two similar cantrips Live Wire and Injury Echo.

Both deal base 2d4 and then have a mechanic that can add 1d4 damage, and by either effect or being a save spell respectively they both deal half damage in the probability range the attack normally miss in.

I'm not going to post this reply to Reddit because I don't feel like having a bunch of downvotes in my inbox but it's the honest truth.

Crafting in #pathfinder2e only if the GM slaps a Walmart in every town and puts a Master+ artisan of every type everywhere with the stats to craft level 20 items.

It's weird that ads like this that pop up on the default home screens of stuff all feature a blonde that looks like she's on an elevator ride with a creepo.

Ma'am are you okay? Did you just a moment before this picture was taken recognize the guy behind you as your stalker? It looks like that.

I am sure we all have that one person that makes really hard to pronounce character names that are basically letter salad.

I and with @dantalksgames.bsky.social on this issue. Though my reason is maybe an extra one.

While I think prepared casters could use some tweaks the "spells per day" and "We should be able to go all day" never accounts for the content of the day. It's inevitably arguing your characters are robots.

I was randomly thinking about this, and while the Vindicator dedication isn't the dealbreaker people act like it is I think it would be entirely fixed by swapping the text around to make the +2 bonus not contingent on the bit where you use Religion to make the checks.

All INT classes are S Tier in #pathfinder2e because of how monstrously powerful INT is as a stat in this system, Reddit can go suck an egg.

Summoner and Exemplar are where they are on the tier list because I have very little knowledge of them.

Hurray, silly white room math is rearing its head to bash the #pathfinder2e remaster alchemist!

Ah yes, bombs do "terrible damage". The bombs that are energy so even the weak vials bypass the fairly common physical resists, piercing being the mos common phys resist.

The energy damage that is...

Urban adventures in #ttrpgs can be pretty difficult to run because there's like... other people in town that would be very much interested in stopping the cult from opening that demon portal.

The unfair reason I don't like it is that people will say I shouldn't just adapt Pathfinder 2e for other themes and then they buy like 7000 PbtA games.

Though this isn't entirely unjustified critique, often the examples people that complain about flavor text give iffy examples and then the naysayers argue against the solution

Ghoran: "Hey, my heritage says I have a sharp memory. Do-"

GM: "That's just flavor text."

Ghoran: Dangit #pathfinder2e"

Bruh... this reddit post is really exaggerating the need to have every element. Like wtf. Is he even playing #pathfinder2e?

"Main reason is stopping regen"

Like... what the... there's... not THAT much regen? Right?!? Like... wtf....

As an aside the second image (repeated here for clarity) is another of my Reddit pet peeves.

Fella points out the GM can literally give them the immunities because there is a sidebar and the reply is "But what is we play with a GM that says No to that?"

They need to stop making up hypothetical GMs

No, Reddit, the problem with using a caster as a gish is often when people say "How do I gish?" they don't mean "How do I make a character that fights using weapons and spells?" they mean "How do I fight with only weapons and not have to get my buffs from someone else?"

Not knocking this specific poster. Dual-wielding weapons is a viable solution if you reflavor it tbf. But this is an example of another thing that often afflicts online discourse in #pathfinder2e

Post asks why he would need Haft Striker stance on War Axe when he could dual wield with it.

FLAVOR.
