there were also pokemon loc docs from the gigaleak where they were like "not many people know what a dugong is, but if we name the pokemon dewgong well, people just might learn something new :)" and well... yes, i suppose i did.
take this with a big grain of salt because I could be misremembering but I remember reading a Pokémon translator saying he translated a line as "soft, loamy soil" to teach kids a new word and he was right. I did learn what loamy meant from Pokémon in fact
there is almost no feedback I will reflexively ignore as a game developer but “you shouldn’t name something X because people don’t know that word” is one of them. oh no! You might learn a new word! God forbid you take away a piece of knowledge from a game that’s not a brand of gun or some shit lol

Hi folks, the first of the month is approaching fast and I currently only have about $20 towards rent which is $1100 plus I really need to stay on top of my medication which is about $120. Please help if you can, those jobs falling through was really discouraging but I'm doing my best
