I like sending random happy mail because it makes me happy and hopefully brightens another persons day. It’s always a surprise when I get something back because I never expect it. (Also I call just about everything I physically mail happy mail.)

My planner/journal for 2026 has arrived. Now it is time to see if/how I actually use the #hobonichitecho - this is my first one.

Wahhhh! I was re-swatching some sample inks I picked up in November from Inks & Drinks and managed to knock over the sample I was swatching all over my desk. RIP Teranishi Opera Rose. I didn’t even get a chance to ink a pen with you. 😭

Giving Qobuz a try for the month. While transferring playlists from one place to another isn’t difficult, I find it amusing that the method recommended doesn’t match all the songs even though Qobuz has them available. Of the 722 tracks I transferred it couldn’t match about 60 or so.🧵

Day 5 of the cat #adventcalendar is yet another thing NOT actually for the cats. There’s a little sticker that you adhere to the bottom of this little cat figurine to attach to a ledge.
P.S. I didn’t notice the additional bag with a finger brush stuffed in the button of number 4 yesterday.

So I’ve been looking at possible replacements for Spotify and recently there have been a lot of recommendations to use Qobuz - aside from streaming quality, the primary reason most often sited is that they pay artists fairly/more. And yes, they do seem to pay out more per stream. 🧵
