Yesterday, five-year-old Liam and his dad Adrian were released from Dilley detention center. I picked them up last night and escorted them back to Minnesota this morning.

I don't think the solution to expensive weddings is to shame people into using the parish hall. in part because the church where we were married did not have a parish hall, and afaik still does not have one

This is the sixth death in ICE custody in 18 days. This isn’t enforcement, it’s a system that cages people, outsources care, and shrugs when they die. Abolish ICE.
