My mind immediately went to the excerpt below from MLK’s Letter from Birmingham Jail. Black Americans have been sounding the alarm for decades.
Any hope of a better future will require that “Middle” (white) America overcome their obsession with upholding “norms”/maintaining “order” above all else.
